DABB was born during a beadmaking hiatus. Nothing alarming or bead-life threatening, just a temporary "blank," common to any creative process. Suddenly I found myself with no new bead ideas in mind, but still itching to create. Having dabbled in lotion, potion, and candle making on and off over the years - even before my first bead ever came to be - formulating was the obvious choice through which to channel all that pent up creative energy.

So, I replenished my stash of natural raw ingredients, acquired some new ones, turned my mom's kitchen into a lab, and once again started experimenting. Now I am happily hooked, and DABB is the culmination of many hours of trials, errors, and successes, all fueled by a lifelong love for candles and body products.

All DABB products are weighed, made, poured, and packaged by me. I design all of my labels, handle all orders, and answer all of my own e-mail, following the same perfectionist habits and rules for quality and customer service that I've set for myself regardless of what I create, be it a bead or a butter bar.
